Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DT Studio (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) handles personal data on dtstudio.ae and in the internal application DT Studio Threads, which we use to publish and manage our own social media profiles.
Who we are
DT Studio is a commercial product and jewellery photography studio based in Dubai, UAE. Contact: info@dtstudio.ae.
The website
When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, we receive the details you type: name, contact details and your message. We use them only to answer you and to prepare a quote, and we keep them in our own CRM. We do not sell them and we do not pass them to anyone who is not involved in doing your shoot. The site also uses Google Analytics to count visits in aggregate.
Advertising measurement
If you arrive from an ad, your browser stores a small file on this site's own domain holding the click identifier and campaign labels from that visit. When you later send an enquiry, those labels travel with it, so we can tell which campaign brought you. The file is kept for 90 days and is readable only by this site. It is not sold, not shared with advertising networks, and not used to build a profile of you. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The DT Studio Threads application
DT Studio Threads is a private, internal tool. It is not offered to the public and has no user accounts of its own. It connects to the Threads API and works only with Threads profiles owned by DT Studio and its founder, after the profile owner has explicitly authorised it: @dtstudio.ae and @d2manin.
What the application does with data from Threads:
- publishes posts to those profiles (text, images, carousels);
- reads replies left under those profiles' own posts, so that the owner can answer them;
- publishes replies from those profiles;
- reads post statistics (views, likes, replies) for those profiles.
Replies written by other Threads users are read only inside the conversation under our own posts, are shown only to the account owner, and are used solely to write an answer. They are not profiled, not analysed for advertising, not enriched with data from other sources and not shared with any third party.
Storage and security
Access tokens are stored encrypted on the studio's own computer (Windows DPAPI, user scope) and never leave it. The application has no server, no database and no hosted backend. Post drafts and a list of already-answered reply IDs are kept in local files so the tool does not answer the same person twice. To generate the wording of a post or a reply, the text is sent to a language model API; no personal data beyond the public text of the conversation is included.
Data retention and deletion
Enquiries are kept while the client relationship is active. Local files of the Threads tool are kept while the tool is in use. To have your data deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, write to info@dtstudio.ae with the subject "Data deletion". We answer within 30 days. Anyone who replied to one of our Threads posts can also simply delete their reply in Threads, and it then disappears from everything the tool can see.
Children
Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
